Personal Ad for My Alter Ego by ~prushim:iconprushim:

Exiled egomaniac
with
terminally humbled genius

seeks

Potential Prophet
with
a Dalit´s approachability

must

Be a perfect ruin
held together with indestructible glue

in return will

Comprehend construction flaws
with molten hard drying clear love-

Preternaturally doomed hope
with obsessive tendencies

seeks

Preternaturally hopeful doom
with childlike wonderment

must

see beauty in the decrepit
and
humor inappropriately

in return will

drool with manic laughter
and
embrace short of suffocation-

Macabre optimist
with antiseptic heart

seeks

Venusian pessimist
with self-cleaning soul

must

clutter voids
and
listen interestedly

in return will

sell emotional baggage on eBay
and
adore genuinely
with
perfect humanity.

Author's Comments

for you
who could be anywhere
scattered across this blue earth

for you
who I am comforted
to have met at least once

for you
who I write words to ripple across the ether
holding onto my beautiful notion that they could possibly find you

for you
who found me
and I pray God will put me in the position to be found again-

Look for a lost girl who smells divine
glitters a little by accident and isn´t cold enough to need your jacket.

In a little bar called Casa Cid, you´ll find her. Black shawl that´s really just a long piece of cloth, black Mantilla she stole off someone´s table. She´ll be nursing a glass of whisky to keep her pickled in youth- her theory since the same drink makes boys grow tall.
She´ll have a Portuguese guitar next to her, waiting like a glass slipper.

Yeah?! If you know "him" than let him know I´m expecting him- the crowd in the place can get a little scary- They serve people from leper colonies.

Tell her to be ready when a tall stranger with dark eyes and prematurely white hair asks to borrow the guitar. Can she ride a horse?

She can learn- she´s younger than she looks. She´s secretly harboured a fantasy about playing Lawrence of Arabia across the desert on the back of a horse, but the time she tried it in Egypt the horse almost threw her off.
